Rukum West. Rukum: A jeep met with an accident near Simrutu Bazaar of Triveni Rural Municipality-2 in Rukum West.
The jeep (Lu 1 Ja 4112) en route to Khalanga via Badarpani, Rugha of Ward No. 2 met with an accident near Simrutu Bazaar this morning. Information Officer at the District Police Office, Rukum West, Police Inspector Rishi Pathak, said seven people were injured in the accident.
The injured have been identified as Jeep driver Prem Khadka, 32, of Triveni-2, Sase Gharti, 84, of Triveni-1, Sarita KC, 20, Sunita KC, 28, geeta Oli, 22, of Triveni-2, Sapana Pariyar, 40, of Musikot municipality-13 and Shiva Kumari Sharma of Musikot-5. The injured have been rescued and sent to the District Hospital Salle, according to Police Post Simrutu.
The jeep lost control and overturned on the road. There were 10 passengers, including the jeep driver. The condition of some of the injured is normal and some are moderate, said Police Inspector Pathak. The injured suffered injuries on their limbs and head.
