Nepal-China friendship should be extended to new generation: PM Oli

Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the friendship between Nepal and China should be extended to the new generation.

He made it clear that no stone would be left unturned in the work to be done by the Government of Nepal on the issue of further advancing the relations.

Addressing the Nepal-China Cultural Summit-2025 organized by Phoenix Inspiration on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and China today, Prime Minister Oli said that organizing such an event on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and China has given an extraordinary message for the expansion of mutual cultural relations.

“This will help grow mutual friendship for generations. Enhances multi-dimensional relationships. The relations are not only transactional, but have mutual feelings and cultural aspects,” he said, adding that no stone would be left unturned on the part of the government when it comes to advancing the friendly relations between the two countries. Friendship doesn’t need a fight. Mutual relations will be increased according to the agreement. It will be made more comprehensive. ’

On the occasion, Pm Oli honoured Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Sunita Dangol with Youth Empowerment Award, Rajesh Kaji Shrestha and Birendra Raj Pandey with Business Leadership Award and Anuradha Sharma with Education Excellence Award.
