Kathmandu. Six highways in the country have been completely blocked due to heavy landslides.

According to Nepal Police, the Barun Koshi Highway at Bhotkhola rural municipality-4 in Sankhuwasabha district has been completely blocked. Similarly, mechi highway at Phidim municipality-4 of Panchthar district and Hilihang rural municipality-7 of the same place and Tamor corridor road section at Tumbewa rural municipality-2 of the same district have been completely obstructed.

According to police, kaligandaki corridor at Tarangkhola of Purna Gaidakot municipality-3 in Nawalparasi and Shahid highway of Thabang rural municipality-1, 2 of Rolpa district have been completely blocked. Likewise, jajarkot Dolpa Bheri corridor road section at Rijigar of Athabiskot municipality-6 in Rukum West has been completely obstructed.

Similarly, the Kathmandu-Nuwakot road section of Kathmandu, mid-hill highway of Baglung district, Kaligandaki Corridor of the same district and two different places of the highway including Rolpa district have been operated smoothly.
