Kathmandu. Five highways in the country have been completely blocked due to floods and landslides.
According to Nepal Police, the Koshi Highway at Bhotkhola Rural Municipality-4, Barun in Sankhuwasabha district, the Mechi Highway at Hewakhola, the confluence point of Phidim Municipality-4 of Panchthar district and Hilihang Rural Municipality-7 of the same municipality, and the Tamor Corridor road section of Tumbewa Rural Municipality-2 of the same district have been completely blocked till the time of publishing this report.
Similarly, Pasang Lhamu road section at Club Danda of Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-5 in Rasuwa district and Rijigar Jajarkot Dolpa Bheri Corridor road section of Athabiskot Municipality-6 in Rukum West district have been completely obstructed.
Similarly, the Kathmandu-Nuwakot road section at Tokha Municipality-2 in Kathmandu district has been restored one-way. Similarly, kaligandaki corridor at Dablang of Baglung municipality-10 in Baglung district has become one-way smooth while kaligandaki corridor at Tarangkhola of Gaidakot municipality-3 in Nawalparasi east has become smooth one-way.
According to police, the Shaheed Highway at Gramjim of Parivartan Rural Municipality-5 of Rolpa district and Bhurtiwang of the same place have been smoothed one-way.
