Light to moderate rain is taking place at a few places of Koshi Province, Madhes Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Lumbini Province.

The weather will be partly to generally cloudy throughout the country today with chances of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at a few places of the hilly region including Koshi Province, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province and at a few places of the rest of the country.

Similarly, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places of Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province. Due to the possible rainfall in the next 24 hours, there is a risk of soil erosion, flood, landslide and landslide, due to which there is a risk of inundation in urban and Terai areas, the water level in large and small rivers and streams may increase. The Division has urged the general public and all the stakeholders to take necessary precautions and preparedness as daily life, agriculture, health, tourism, construction works around the river area, road and air transport may also be affected.
