Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said in the National Assembly on Wednesday that no one involved in corruption will be spared.
Replying to a discussion on the study report on upgrading Nepal from least developed country to developing country in the National Assembly today, Pm Oli said that the government was synonymous with corruption without thinking.
“People say that the government is synonymous with corruption. After taking action against one or two corrupt people, you have seen that he has done corruption! After taking action, corruption was seen. Is it better not to take action?”, he said.
He argued that the government is synonymous with controlling corruption. “If anyone does, action will be taken. No one will be spared,” he said.
On Wednesday, the meeting listened to the discussion on ‘Study Report on Nepal’s Transformation from Least Developed Country to Developing Country, 2081’. Prime Minister Oli, who then reached the rostrum to answer, praised the members of the National Assembly.
