Ministry of Industry appoints three expert members from private sector

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies has appointed three expert members to the Board of Trade. Kush Kumar Joshi, Bidushi Rana and Jyotsna Shrestha have been appointed as expert members of the Board of Trade.

According to the appointment letter issued by the Trade Policy and Trade Assistance Section of the Ministry, the three have been appointed to the Board of Trade as per the provisions of point 13 of the Commerce Policy 2081 BS, according to the personal secretariat of Minister Damodar Bhandari.

According to the Secretariat, the appointment was made as per the ministerial decision of August 1, 2018. According to the Ministry, the role of the Board of Trade has been taken as an important basis for improving trade in the existing commerce policy, private sector activism, coordination in policy making and strengthening cooperation between the government and private sector.
