Sankhuwasabha. At least 14 people were injured when a bus en route to Damak from Mulgaun of Dharmadevi municipality-9 met with an accident. Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Tehrathum, Lilaraj Lamichhane, said the bus (Ba 2 Pa 7244) fell about 10 meters below the road at Deurali Ghumti of Laligurans municipality-1 on the border of Sankhuwasabha and Tehrathum.

The injured have been identified as Sabin Bista, 23, of Dharmadevi Municipality-9, Bhawani Karki, 25, Of Dharmadevi-7, Unlimited Bharti, 7, Hira Bharti, 9, Ratnamaya Katuwal, 56, Bishnu Katuwal, 12, Man Kumar Katuwal, 52, Dhanmaya Chapagain, 52, Of Dharmadevi Municipality-6, Pratima Katuwal, 15, Sommaya Yaim, 16, sujan Katuwal, 30, of Mahalaxmi Municipality-1. ।

Among the injured, Sabin Bista, 23, of Dharmadevi municipality-9 is in critical condition and has been sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan for further treatment. The injured are undergoing treatment at Basantapur Hospital. Khem Mahat of Dharmadevi-6 of Sankhuwasabha has been absconding since the accident.
