Kathmandu. Various highways have been blocked due to floods and landslides in different parts of the country, while some highways have come into operation unilaterally.
According to Nepal Police, the Koshi Highway at Bhotekhola Municipality-4, Barun in Sankhuwasabha district has been completely blocked.
Similarly, the bridge connecting Nepal and China at Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-2 in Rasuwa district has been completely blocked while the Pasang Lhamu road section of Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-2-3 of the same district has been completely blocked.
According to police, the Shaheed Highway at Sagurokhola of Rolpa District Parivartan Rural Municipality-5 has been completely blocked. Jajarkot Dolpa Bheri Corridor road section at Rijigar of Athabiskot Municipality-6 in Rukum West district has been completely blocked.
Similarly, the Karnali Corridor at Kharcha of Sarkegard Rural Municipality-1 in Humla district has been completely blocked. Similarly, the Dolpa road section at Chokha Khola of Nalgad Municipality-11 in Jajkot district has been completely obstructed.
Similarly, the Kathmandu-Nuwakot road section of Tokha municipality-2 in Kathmandu district has become one-way smooth. The road from Galchhi Trishuli to Mailung Syafru at Naubise of Uttargaya Rural Municipality-5 in Rasuwa district has been smoothed one-way while Kaligandaki of Baglung Municipality-10, Dablang in Baglung district has been restored one-way.
Similarly, Tarangkhola Kaligandaki of Gaidakot municipality in Nawalparasi district has become one-way smooth. Mustang: The Beni Jomsom road section at Thasang Rural Municipality-4, Ghoptebhir in Mustang district has been restored one-way.
Similarly, the Prithvi Highway at Chunpahara of Bandipur Rural Municipality-4 in Tanhu district has been smoothed one-way. Similarly, the Shaheed Highway at Gramjim and Dhamchor of Rolpa District Parivartan Rural Municipality-5 has been restored one-way while the Ghorahi Rukum Shaheed Highway at Hastabans of Parivartan Rural Municipality-5 in rolpa district has been made operational.
