Kanchanpur. Kanchanpur: The movement of four-wheelers has been banned at The Sharda Barrage as the water level in the Mahakali River in Kanchanpur has increased.

Information Officer at the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Deputy Superintendent of Police Sagar Bohara said that four-wheelers have been banned as the water level in the Mahakali River has increased following incessant rainfall.

“When the water level reaches 100,000 cusecs in the Mahakali river, movement is restricted. “Four-wheelers will be banned once the water level in the Mahakali river reaches 100,000 cusecs,” he said. ’

According to him, the movement of water in the Mahakali River crossed 109,980 cusecs at 8 am today.
