Kathmandu. At present, there is an influence of monsoon winds across the country. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is a possibility of heavy rainfall in Koshi Province and SudurPaschim Province. The Division has urged the people to remain alert about the impact on daily life, health, road and air transport.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the low pressure line of the monsoon is located in the Terai of Nepal on the north side of the southern place. Under its influence, it will be generally cloudy in the hilly regions of the country including Karnali and SudurPaschim provinces and generally cloudy in the rest of the country.

Moderate rainfall is taking place at one or two places of Madhes province and at a few places of rest of the provinces. It will be generally cloudy in the hilly regions of the country including Koshi, Lumbini, Karnali and SudurPaschim provinces and generally cloudy in the rest of the country this afternoon. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places of the hilly region of Lumbini, Karnali and SudurPaschim provinces and at a few places of the rest of the country.

It will be generally cloudy throughout the country tonight. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places of Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Sudur Pashchim Province and at one or two places of Sudur Pashchim Province and Sudur Pashchim Province. Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places of Koshi Province. The Division has urged the authorities concerned to take necessary precautions as heavy rainfall is likely to affect daily life, health, road and air transport in the places.
