According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly regions of the country including Koshi and Lumbini provinces and partly cloudy in the rest of the country today. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places of the hilly and terai regions of Koshi and Lumbini provinces and at a few places of the hilly and terai regions of the rest of the provinces. Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

Similarly, it will be generally cloudy throughout the country tonight. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places of the hilly and tarai regions of Koshi and Lumbini provinces and at a few places of the hilly and tarai regions of the rest of the provinces. Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi Province, according to a bulletin published by the Division.
