Jagdamba Motors’ 14 to 19-seater commercial EV vehicle at Naima Mobility Expo, how much will it cost?

Kathmandu. Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd. and Shankar Group have imported commercial electric vehicles (EVs).

The company has introduced 14 to 19-seater commercial EVs in The Nepali market through Chinese brands Farizon, Cherry Wanda and King Long.

The group has brought a 19-seater Farizon van. The Farizon brand, part of the Glee Group, produces vans based on a fully electric platform.

Presented at the Naima Expo, the model uses a 170 kW motor. Which can easily cross the slippery and elevated roads of Nepal. The 82.88kW÷ hour lithium battery enables long-distance travel.

The van has received the EU WVTA (European Union Vehicle Type Approval Certificate). It certifies that it meets european union safety and quality standards. The 19-seater Space Van is particularly suitable for tourism and inter-city services.

From a safety point of view, it includes technologies such as disc brakes, airbags, ABS, EBD, 360-degree camera, ADS, AVAS. Ac, heater, heated seat and steering have been arranged for the convenience of the driver.

The battery of this van has a warranty of 4 years or 7 lakh kilometers and the motor has a warranty of 5 years or 2 00,000 kilometers. Its initial price is Rs 7.69 million.

Similarly, there is a 14-capacity Cherry Wanda Microbus. Built in collaboration with Cherry and Wanda, this microbus is a reliable and affordable alternative to urban mobility. It is fitted with a 53.58 kW÷Hour CATL battery that provides a claimed range of up to 300 km(may vary according to usage terms).

It has 180mm ground clarence, which makes it suitable for nepal’s roads. The battery has a warranty of 5 years or 3 00,000 kilometers and the motor has a warranty of 5 years or 2 00,000 kilometers. Its initial price is Rs 5.6 million.

According to Raju Bhetwal, Senior Vice President, Jagdamba Motors, “At Naima Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, we are introducing various commercial EV solutions. Our vehicles will reduce the burden on commercial drivers by strengthening the EV ecosystem. ”

At the Naima Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, Jagdamba Motors’ stall D-16, Hall D will be located. Customers participating in the program will also get the opportunity to get special offers in bookings.
