Turkmenistan. Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said That Nepal is committed to deepening the partnership with its neighbours and other countries in the spirit of economic cooperation, regional integration and shared progress.
He made the commitment while addressing a high-level thematic roundtable on ‘Sustainable Infrastructure of Landlocked Countries, Strengthening Connectivity and Barrier-Free Transit System’ organized on the sidelines of the 3rd United Nations Conference of Landlocked Developing Countries here today.
Prime Minister Oli said That Nepal has given priority to sustainable infrastructure, strong connectivity and uninterrupted transport system for sustainable and rapid economic growth to fulfill the national aspiration of the Nepali people of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’. “We are actively expanding and strengthening cross-border connectivity to ensure smooth and seamless transit and trade. “Sustainable infrastructure, strong connectivity and uninterrupted transit policy, development of landlocked countries and resilience are the pillars of our hopes,” he said. I urge you to renew our collective determination to connect the framework with these provisions to the world physically, digitally and economically. ’
He called for focusing on infrastructure, connectivity and transit, which are indispensable requirements for equality, inclusion and shared progress, and called for building a beautiful future without any nation lagging behind on these issues.
