Nawalparasi. Butwal-Narayangadh road section has been obstructed again. Daunne section of Binayi Triveni Rural Municipality-2 of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) along the East-West Highway has been obstructed.

Superintendent of Police yadav Dhakal of District Police Office, Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East) said that vehicular traffic has been stopped due to the mud and slippery road due to rain near Paisathi Mod of Daunne.

Daunne section, which was obstructed since Monday morning due to incessant rains, has been operating for some time and has been obstructed again. Superintendent of Police Dhakal informed that the road has been blocked again since this morning.

“Vehicles have not been able to slip even in the light rain, trucks are stuck on muddy roads,” he said. ’

According to police, there has been a problem in vehicular movement due to the road blockade in Daunne section and efforts are being made to open the road by repairing it. The road near Bishwakarma Temple of Vinayi Triveni Rural Municipality-2 has been continuously obstructed.

Butwal-Narayangadh road section has been obstructed even in normal years due to the erosion of daunne hills during the expansion.
