Shivam Cement’s profit up 205.85 percent

Kathmandu. Shivam Cements Company has published its financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year.

The company’s net profit increased by 205.85 percent to Rs 794.18 million in mid-July of the last fiscal year. In the previous fiscal year, the company’s net profit stood at Rs 259.6million.

The company’s net profit increased by 66.30 percent to Rs 1.72 billion at the end of June.

Similarly, other income declined by 30.78 percent to Rs 139.4 million. The total expenditure of the company decreased by 1.66 percent to Rs 946.69 million in mid-June of the last fiscal year compared to mid-June of the previous fiscal year.

During this period, the company’s revenue from the sale of products increased by 0.78 percent to Rs 7.76 billion. As of Mid-July, the company’s earnings per share stood at Rs 14.55 and net worth per share was Rs 188.57.

The company has a paid-up capital of Rs 5.45 billion and a reserve fund of Rs 4.83 billion.
