Bajura. The Sanfe-Martadi highway connecting the district headquarters has been obstructed due to incessant rain since Friday night.

Dev Bahadur Chaudhary, police inspector and information officer at the District Police Office, Bajura, said that the highway has been obstructed due to flooding in Rila rivulet of Badimalika municipality-4 due to incessant rain.

According to him, the highway has been blocked due to landslides from above Rila village and flooding of rivulets. Police Inspector and Information Officer Chaudhary said that jcv initiative is being taken with the Road Division Office to construct the road due to the flood in the rivulet.

Due to the blockade of the highway, the movement of long and short-distance vehicles has become difficult. According to Police Inspector Chaudhary, it has been difficult to open the road as the landslide is coming from above even after removing the landslide from the road due to continuous rain.
