Kalikot. The landslide has disrupted traffic at several places along the Kalikot road section of the Karnali Highway. Traffic has been disrupted due to landslides triggered by rain since Saturday night.

According to Kalikot Police Chief Tek Bahadur Rawat, the road leading to Mugu via Gagne Khola of Kalikot, Bihani of Kalikot, Khidki Jula of Dailekh, Nagma of Jumla and Kalikot along the Karnali Highway has been obstructed due to landslides. According to him, traffic has been disrupted in Dailekh since Saturday evening, while work is underway to clear the landslide at Gagne and Bihani in Kalikot.

Motorcycles and small vehicles have not been able to cross the River Phugad between Raskot and Pachal waterfalls under the Karnali Corridor due to incessant rain since last night. Vehicles going to Surkhet via Kalikot have been stopped at various places due to landslides.
