Kaski has the highest number of dengue cases at 441, Tanahun at 120, Lamjung at 93, Gorkha at 58, Baglung at 32, Syangja at 32, Parbat at 20, Myagdi at 10, Nawalpur at four and Mustang at one. Manang district has not reported dengue so far this year.

More than half of the confirmed cases are from Pokhara Metropolitan City of Kaski. So far, 432 people have been infected with dengue in Pokhara. In the last three weeks, 129 cases of dengue infection have been reported in Pokhara.

Pokhara, the capital of the province, had become a dengue hotspot last year. More than 8,600 people were infected with dengue in Pokhara Metropolitan City alone that year. Three people from Pokhara died of dengue infection.
