Addressing TAG_OPEN_div_11 the International Information Technology Youth Conference-2025 organized by the National Youth Association Nepal virtually today, Prime Minister Oli, who is also the chairman of the CPN-UML, said the use of information technology was essential to fulfill the national aspiration of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali’. Stating that he had prepared a framework for Digital Nepal to make the entire country technology-friendly during his first prime minister’s tenure and now it is being implemented, he said the policy on Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been brought recently. He also recalled that through the amendment of the law, provision has been made to open companies abroad in the field of information and technology by staying in Nepal.

Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stressed the need to accelerate good governance, development and prosperity by using information technology.
“We need TAG_OPEN_div_9 to use information technology to make the country, society, and the entire human race more advanced and refined. “I urge you to use it to maintain good governance and control corruption and seek support for comprehensiveness, social harmony and innovation in development,” he said, adding, “We have been able to improve the results by up to 14 percent through online classes in last year’s SEE.” Similarly, we have been using information technology in health and other sectors as well. We need to be aware of the shortcomings and distortions caused by its misuse. ’’
