Khalanga. The landslide has blocked the Terchhalek Ranebas area along the Darchula-Gokuleshwor road. According to the District Police Office, the main road has been obstructed at Terchhayalek Ranebas on the border of Shailyashikhar Municipality-6 and Malikarjun Rural Municipality-3 since this morning.

There has been a problem in mobilizing equipment to open the blocked road due to continuous flow of stones and mud. Chief District Officer Anil Poudel said that the equipment was sent from Gokuleshwor but it was difficult to open it due to continuous flow of stones and mud. Vehicles coming out and entering khalanga, the district headquarters, have been blocked in the area.
