Darchula. The Mahakali Highway, which has been obstructed due to landslides, has come into operation. Landslides occurred at Terchhalek of Malikarjun rural municipality-3 and Ranebas of Shailyashikhar municipality-6 along the Gokuleshwor-Darchula road section on Sunday night.

Chief District Officer of Darchula, Anil Poudel, said that the highway came into operation after 11:00 am.

With the opening of the highway, the closed vehicular movement has come into operation. According to the police, the stranded passengers are also heading towards their respective destinations with the operation of the vehicles.
