Four arrested for stealing petroleum products

Bhaktapur. Police have arrested a gang involved in stealing petroleum products from different vehicles parked at different places. Locals arrested four members of the gang and handed them over to the police while they were stealing diesel from a Nissan truck parked at a brick kiln at Jhaukhel of Changunarayan Municipality-3.

The arrestees TAG_OPEN_div_10 have been identified as Saroj Sunar, 32, of Panchkhal Municipality-11, Kavrepalanchowk, Amir Lama, 32, of Bageshwari of Changunarayan-7, Suman Tamang, 27, of Suryabinayak Municipality-7 and Purnima Maharjan, 27, of Thankot, Kathmandu.

Three people were injured when some people took control of 40 liters of diesel while they were stealing 40 liters of diesel in a bus (TAG_OPEN_div_8 Ba4 Kha 4280). The injured have been taken to police custody after receiving treatment at Bhaktapur Hospital.

Police have detained four persons who have been detained by the locals for their alleged involvement in the theft of the TAG_OPEN_div_6 and are investigating the matter.
