Kathmandu.  Symex Inc., the authorized distributor of BYD Auto Industry Company in Nepal, has launched the all-new BYD Atto 2.

The EV was launched at the NADA Auto Show 2025, which is accessible to all in Nepal. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Chairman of Symex Inc Anil Shrestha, Managing Director Yamuna Shrestha and Brand Ambassador of BYD Nepal Haribansh Acharya made the event public.

BYD Atto 2 combines compact design, easy handling and viability of SUVs, targeting the lifestyle of young businessmen and families who want to be present on the streets with SUVs, which are easy and available at affordable prices. It comes with BYD’s famous blade battery, smart in-cabin technology and premium comfort features, allowing the vehicle to experience a bigger car even in a compact SUV package.

BYD Atto 2 is currently available in Nepal at a starting price of Rs 4.399 million, including a 7 kW wall-mounted charger.

Available in a compact and versatile design, the BYD Atto 2 features a powerful SUV. With 4,310 mm long, 1,830 mm width, 1,675 mm height and 2,620 mm wheelbase with 200 mm ground clearance, it is suitable for all Nepali roads in the city and city.

The BYD Atto 2 has a 51.13 kW blade battery. Which gives a driving range of 345 kilometers according to WLTP on a single charge. Its 100 kW permanent magnet synchronous motor produces 290 Nm of torque and accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 9 seconds.

The dynamic exterior design includes full LED headlight, LED daytime running light, floating roofline and LED taillight bar. That’s why this car looks bold and youthful on the road. The stunning roof spoiler on top of the full-spread light bar at the back looks like the English no. 8 and the ‘Mobius Infinity Ring’ gives a glimpse of unlimited greetings.

The byd Atto 2 features a combination of synthetic leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, 6-way power driver’s seats, and 4-way power passenger seats.  The flat EV floor design and 60/40 split rear seats feature cargo flexibility to accommodate extra luggage.

Byd Atto 2 features such as a 12.8-inch intelligent rotating touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster, voice assistant and wireless smartphone charging center up the technology experience.

The new BYD Atto 2 comes with BYD’s world-renowned blade battery and advanced cell-to-body (CTB) manufacturing technology. Which integrates the battery pack directly into the chassis for improved space, efficiency, body rigidity and passenger safety.

Cobalt and nickel-free blade batteries use lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemicals and are long-lasting, long-term useable and suitable even at high temperatures. For all this, this battery has successfully passed the industry’s strictest nail penetration test.

Symex Inc. has provided only one variant of the BYD Atto 2. Its price has been fixed at Rs 43.99 lakh. It also includes a 7 kW wall charger. Customers booking at NADA Auto Show 2025 will get 1-year auto plus insurance, free 3.3 kW portable charger, 10-year warranty, free accessories package, free 10-year BYD app connectivity.
