Jhapa. The Inland Revenue Office Bhadrapur has collected Rs 305.195 million in the first month of the current fiscal year 2082/83 BS. The amount collected is 6.85 percent of the annual target of the current fiscal year.

Information Officer and Tax Officer Dorraj Sunuwar said that the office has set a target of collecting Rs 4.45 billion revenue in the current fiscal year. “Against the target of Collecting Rs 383.91 million in the month of July, 80.23 per cent of the target has been collected,” he said.

Of this, Rs 78.36 million was collected from income tax, Rs 15.16 million from interest, Rs 144.5 million from value added tax and Rs 68.37 million from excise duty.

In the first month of the last fiscal year 2081/82 BS, revenue of Rs 302.326 million was collected. Tax officer Sunuwar said that the office has been continuously monitoring and monitoring the market to achieve the revenue collection target and providing beneficiary-centric practical tax education.
