Kathmandu. The Education, Health and Information Technology Committee of the House of Representatives has passed the School Education Bill. Today’s meeting of the committee passed the bill amidst differences of opinion from the main opposition nepal communist party (Maoist Center), Rastriya Swatantra Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party.
The bill, which has been under discussion in the parliamentary committee for a long time, will be presented in the next parliament meeting. The bill to integrate and amend the law related to school education was passed today after discussions in the sub-committee and committee for a long time.
The CpN (Maoist Centre) has registered a five-point difference in the bill. CpN (Maoist Centre) lawmakers Devendra Poudel, Mahendra RayYadav, Rekha Sharma and Gyanu Basnet Subedi said that the issues raised by them for the improvement of school education could not be addressed in the bill.
Similarly, Sumana Shrestha of Rastriya Swatantra Party and Bina Jayaswal of Rastriya Prajatantra Party had different views.
