Kathmandu. Entrepreneur Vinay Upadhyay has been appointed as uganda’s honorary consul general for Nepal. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs formally handed over the appointment letter to him on Wednesday.

Upadhyay is an entrepreneur working in the real estate and housing development and tourism sectors. Known for his visionary approach to trade and international partnerships, Upadhyay has been making significant contributions to Nepal’s growing entrepreneurial landscape.

Expressing gratitude after the appointment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he said that he would make every effort to strengthen the relations between Uganda and Nepal. “I will take this special initiative with full commitment and will work to take the bilateral relations between our two countries to a new height in the future,” he said. ’

His appointment is expected to pave the way for deeper cooperation between Uganda and Nepal in areas such as trade, tourism, investment and cultural exchange.
