Rautahat. Rautahat: The Armed Police Force (APF), Rautahat, has seized 30 sacks of tobacco and tobacco products illegally stored there.
Chief of Armed Police Force Nepal Rautahat and Superintendent of Armed Police Santosh Kumar Basnet said that tobacco products of this quantity were recovered from near the furnace shop of Ram Singh Chanau at Mathia of Ishnath Municipality-4 today.
“A joint team led by APF Chief Basnet and Armed Police Inspector Khem Roj Joshi of Border Outpost Auraiya handed over 30 sacks of tobacco products to Gaur Customs Office,” he said.
Rautahat: The Armed Police Force (APF), Rautahat, has seized various goods worth Rs 57.4 million in the fiscal year 2081÷82 BS.
Chief Basnet clarified that the Armed Police Force (APF) is focused on minimizing and controlling illegal incidents of illegal goods including tobacco products, clothes, food, vegetables, meat products, small and medium weapons, patka and others entering Nepal by evading the security personnel and customs officials of the border areas of Bankul, Gaur, Rampurkhap, Auraiya, Banjaraha, Jayanagar and Matia of the district. ।
According to Rautahat’s Armed Police Force Chief Basnet, with the cooperation and coordination of the local bodies, various political parties, civil society and the general public in the district, significant success has been achieved in reducing and controlling illegal activities including illegal trade in the border and customs areas.
