Kathmandu. Yangwang, byd’s premium sub-brand, has set the fastest EV record in global electric vehicles (EVs). Germany’s ATP Automotive Testing papenberg test track set the record with a speed of 472.41 kilometers per hour.

Yangwang’s newest model U9 track Edison Super Car set the record as the world’s fastest EV on August 8. German professional driver Mark Basseng set the record by driving. Earlier last year, he had set a similar global EV speed record. He said that although he thought he had won last year, he was happy that he was able to set a new record on the same track due to new technology and broke his own record.

Yangwang Yu-9 is currently being sold in China. The yangwang U-9 track edition, which has now broken the record, is an improved version of the same. It also uses the E4 platform used in the U-9 and the Disus-X core technical architecture. It features the world’s first 1200-volt ultra-high-voltage vehicle platform and is paired with thermal management systems to ease extreme conditions.

The E4 platform in the Yangwang Yu-9 Track Edition uses the world’s first special type of motor system, which has a high-performance motor of 30,000 rpm, which delivers 555 kW of peak power per motor. All of these produce a combined system output of 3,000 PS. Due to this, the power-to-weight ratio of the vehicle also goes to 1,217 PS per tonne.

In addition, the quad-motor independent torque-vectoring system of the e-4 platform continuously monitors the road, so that the speed, posture, etc. are monitored to prevent wheel slip or traction loss.

The Disus-X Intelligent Body Control System helps to ease the suspension during any cornering and acceleration. It helps in bringing comfort and confidence to the driver by coordinating tyres and roads.

The aerodynamic design used in Yangwang U-9 has also been used in the U-9 track edition. Similarly, it uses an improved optional carbon-fiber front splitter. It has a completely scientific design and technology to make it easy to operate even at ultra-high speed. The tires used in it are also special. For this, semi-sleek tires centered on the track have been used.

The Yangwang Yu9 Track Edition has achieved this feat due to the special technical skills already available and further improvements. Due to all this, it has been able to top the global automotive industry.
