Dang. The forest group has earned more than Rs 1.8 million by selling khoto. The four community forests of the district have earned Rs 1,837,657.

According to the Division Forest Office, the amount was earned by selling 75,256 kg of khoto in the fiscal year 2081/82 BS. It is used to make false tarpin and colors. Industries in Banke and Kapilvastu have been buying this fake.

In the fiscal year 2081/82, 196,756 kg less khota has been collected compared to the fiscal year 208081. In the fiscal year 2080/81 BS, 272,012 kg of salla was collected from seven community forest groups in the district.

In the fiscal year 2079/80 BS, a total of Rs 939,027 was earned by collecting and selling 78,000 kg of sala. Income has also decreased with the decrease in the community forest group that collects false.
