Achham. Two persons were crushed to death and another was injured when a stone fell from a cliff in chhaugoth. According to the police, they died on the spot.

Nim Khanal, 35, of Churkholi tole in Selapani of Panchadeval Binayak municipality-8 and Kabita, seven-year-old daughter of Gore Bhandari of Mangalsen municipality-6, were crushed to death by a stone while they were sleeping in a chhaugoth this morning, district police office chief Om Prakash Khanal told RSS. Kavita’s mother, who was injured in the incident, has been sent to a local health post for treatment.

A team led by Inspector Tek Bahadur Deuba from the District Police Office has left for the spot, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Khanal.
