Beni residents of Kopre Waterfall to escape heat

Myagdi. The Kopre Waterfall at Beni Municipality-2 has been developed as a hot spot. Beni residents have started reaching the Kopre Waterfall in search of coolness in the summer.

Kopre Waterfall, which was anonymous until a few years ago, has recently developed into a new tourist destination. Kopre Falls is located on the banks of myagdi river and at the foot of a high mountain, two kilometers west of Beni Bazaar. On public holidays, young people, teenagers and adults of Beni enjoy visiting the Kopre Waterfall.

Preeti Chhantyal of Beni, who had gone to visit The Kopre Waterfall, said that she can enjoy sitting at the foot of the falling waterfall in a quiet and secluded environment. “It was a pleasure to be away from the busy daily routine and noise of the city and enjoy with nature,” he said, adding, “The Kopre waterfall has become the perfect support to escape the scorching heat of Beni.” ’

The Kopre waterfall, which is small in the winter, is big in the rainy season. The waterfall, which falls with the help of cliffs and guards, looks very attractive, attractive and beautiful. One can see close by the base of a waterfall about 150 meters high. This waterfall, which makes rainbows during the sun, attracts tourists a lot.

Ananda Pun of Beni said that it is a great pleasure to be soaked in the cold water of the waterfall, which falls from the top of the hill to the ground. Kopre makes tiktoks, reels and stories on social media by taking videos and pictures in waterfalls.

Narayan Bahadur Karki, a resident of Beni municipality-2, said that the kopre waterfall is frequented throughout the day during the rainy season. Karki has planted bar and pilal trees in the waterfall premises with his personal investment.

Beni Municipality has spent Rs 250,000 to set up shelters, parking lots and iron benches for accommodation. Mayor Surat KC said rs 200,000 has been allocated for the construction of additional infrastructure in the current fiscal year.

The gandaki state government is in the process of upgrading the road connecting Hadebhir of Beni to Bhakimli via Dudhekhola near Bagarphant Kopre waterfall. Mayor KC said that emphasis has been laid to make The Kopre Waterfall a rainy season destination by making the road easier and more infrastructure as well as publicity.
