Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives is taking place at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor this afternoon.

In today’s meeting, the Speaker will read out the letter received from the Office of the President regarding the extension of the work. Similarly, a letter regarding the extension of work received from the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers will be read out.

Similarly, Secretary of the House of Representatives Harkaraj Rai will table the bill with the message received from the National Assembly regarding the ‘Water Resources Bill’. Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari will present a proposal seeking consideration of the Nepal Veterinary Council (First Amendment) Bill, 2082 BS.

Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak is scheduled to present a proposal in the meeting seeking consideration of the amendment made by the National Assembly on the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081, 2081 BS. Similarly, a meeting of the Federalism Empowerment and National Concern Committee is being held. The meeting is scheduled to discuss the annual report of the committee for the fiscal year 2081/82 and the draft of the annual action plan for the fiscal year 2082/83 BS.
