Kathmandu. Nepal Telecom has shut down unregistered social networks.

According to the government’s directive, the social networks which are not registered as per the law have been closed for the time being.

Today, the government had directed the Nepal Telecommunication Authority (NTA) to shut down the social networks that were not in the registration process. As per the directive, nea has already directed internet service providers to shut down unregistered social networks.

Nepal Telecom has said that the government will follow the directives received from the AUTHORITY in the coming days for the resumption of social networks.
