Siraha. Armed Police Force (APF) has arrested a youth with clothes and two motorcycles illegally brought from India.

Ram Kumar Yadav, 22, was arrested by a patrolling team of Armed Police Force (APF) No. 7, Siraha, near Gumbachowk of Golbazar Municipality-6 this morning. Yadav is a resident of Sukhipur Municipality-7, Siswa.

Another motorcyclist is absconding, said Superintendent of Armed Police Naresh Bhandari. According to the APF, clothes worth Rs 282,800 and two motorcycles worth Rs 250,000 were seized from Yadav. The value of the seized material is Rs 532,800.

Superintendent of Armed Police Force Bhandari said that the Armed Police Force (APF) has started a strict vigil to stop the import of goods from India by evading customs duty. Preparations are underway to hand over the seized goods to the Customs Office after completing necessary legal procedures, he added.
