Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Administration Office has issued a curfew order until further notice. The curfew, which will come into effect from 8:30 am, will remain in force until further orders.

The curfew has been imposed in all areas of the Ring Road from Balkumari Bridge to Koteshwor Chowk, Sinamangal, Gaushala, Chabahil, Narayan Gopal Chowk, Gongabu, Balaju, Swayambhu, Kalanki, Balkhu and Bagmati River Bridge.

Chief District Officer of Kathmandu District Officer, Chhabilal Rijal said that the security personnel would ease the movement of emergency vehicles, ambulances, fire trucks, hearse vehicles, vehicles of health workers, media persons, tourist vehicles, vehicles of human rights and diplomatic missions and air tickets during the curfew period.

“No one will be allowed to move, any kind of assembly, procession, demonstration, meeting, meeting, gherao in the area where curfew has been ordered,” he said.
