According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly region of the country including Koshi and Madhes and partly cloudy in the rest of the country towards the afternoon. Likewise, moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places of the hilly and terai regions of the country. There are chances of heavy rain at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

The Division has forecast that there is a risk of occurrence of landslide and debris flow due to rainfall, the water level in big and small rivers and rivulets may rise, affecting the transport sector.
