Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Nepal Army (NA) has urged the bodies concerned to return the weapons looted during the agitation.

In a statement, the army urged the government to hand over the weapons, ammunition and security equipment looted by the security forces during the protests to the nearby security forces or security personnel as soon as possible.

The NA has also urged the security personnel not to use the uniforms of the security agencies in sensitive situations. Meanwhile, the Nepal Army has warned of taking action as per the prevailing laws if anyone is found with arms and ammunition without handing over them.
