Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki took oath of office and secrecy as the Prime Minister of Nepal at the President’s official residence in Sheetal Niwas. She was sworn in some time ago. He was the head of the diplomatic mission at Sheetal Niwas.

President Ram Chandra Poudel has appointed Sushila Karki as the Prime Minister of the Interim Cabinet as per the demand of Jenji.

Article 61 (4) of the constitution states that the President shall promote national unity, uphold and protect the constitution. Similarly, Article 3 states that the President shall promote national unity. The oath was administered in accordance with the same provision.

She is also the first woman Chief Justice. She was appointed as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court on April 24, 2016. Sushila Karki was born in Bhojpur district. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Banaras Hindu University, India.

Karki was appointed as a judge of the Supreme Court in 2049 BS. After nearly two decades of judicial service, she became a judge of the Supreme Court in 2070 BS and later the Chief Justice. Karki, who assumed the post of Chief Justice in 2073 BS, continued to be talked about for her honest image, tough judgment and impartiality.

She took bold and historic decisions on issues such as corruption, good governance, human rights, among others. His decisions have had a profound impact on the policy and administrative structure of the state. His tenure was about 10 months. An impeachment motion was filed against him by the Nepali Congress and the Maoist government.
