Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has announced that he will return to jail.

Lamichhane, who was released from Nakkhu prison on September 24, posted a status and video message on social media Facebook stating that he would return to Nakkhu prison today.

The jail administration has claimed that the letter was sent to save the jail, not to save him.

He claimed that he did not want to embarrass the employees and secretaries in the name of the legality of the letter.

Hello. I have been in constant dialogue with the society and citizens for the past 30 years in various roles. I have never compromised on accountability. Today, I am going to tell you something more important about the way forward for the country than to explain myself. Coincidentally, today is my birthday. And I’m sending myself back to prison as a birthday present. The previous government had taken extreme political vendetta against me.

Today, the Prime Minister himself has become the epitome of justice in the leadership of this country. Now I am going to jail with the hope that there will be no injustice. I want to leave it to the discretion of the new government whether I should have been prosecuted district by district or not, whether a person who does not have the signature of a cooperative should be charged with organized crime and money laundering. I just hope that the one who obeys the law the most will not be weakened and defamed.

All that remains is the controversy about my expulsion from jail a few days ago. At that time, a letter was issued to protect the prison from the mob. Now I hear that the letter itself is not legitimate. Even in the circumstances in which I was released from jail and given a letter, the administration did not save me, but saved me. I don’t want to embarrass any employee or secretary in the name of its legality today. I have been drinking poison for a long time. I won’t die after drinking another drop or two of poison.

I am used to such accusations and retributions. A person who has faced so many conspiracies, no jailer or a home secretary should be in trouble because of me, I will take responsibility. But my heartache is such that why do I have to be pushed into the crowd to save the prison and instead of doing this, the prisoners all over the country have escaped because of me. Even then, where is there left to hurt my feelings, and even now, every corrupt person in this country is surrounded by the security agencies, eating in Aries. I am alone after coming out of the crowd of people. I don’t even have a policeman.

I saw the activism of some orphans of the old party on social media to defame me. O Senamena friends of the old party, where are you

dancing in the party of propaganda against me, instead of going to the lament of the downfall of your heritage?

I have no complaints against my friends in my own party family. I respect the freedom of all friends. If you are good, Ravi Lamichhane will not be an obstacle in any of your journeys. I am happy that Raspa has become a platform for building the personality of any friends. But the party is formed. A party is formed by the blessings of parents, the love of sisters, and the activity and goodwill of brothers.

That’s all for me and the party today. Now let’s talk about tomorrow. Let’s talk about the country. I am a politician committed to democracy, rule of law. I don’t compromise on that. The interim government could not have been formed in full compliance with the constitution. Whatever may be the constitutional background of the interim government, this is now the reality of the country. The government should now make this move meaningful with the results.

Let’s not forget one thing. The children were shot dead by the caricature. At the same time, the country’s government structures have been demolished. Therefore, there should be an investigation into the repression of the first day and the violence of the second day. Home Minister and Prime Minister who shoots at the head of a child should be brought to justice immediately.

Those who set fire to the country’s structures should also be brought to justice immediately. I also have some demands along with the promise of giving all my strength and strength for the success of the government if we follow the right path.

1. All decisions including policy decisions after 1990 and the property of high officials should be investigated.

2. Political appointments made in all the bodies of the country should be canceled by a single decision.

3) The way for reappointment from the bureaucracy to the judiciary should be opened immediately. From the sub-judge to the judge, the inquiry should be given again.

4. Meritocracy should be established by immediately canceling political appointments in all universities.

I have been saying that all the organs of the state are different heads of the same Ravana. If even one of Ravan’s heads is saved, Ravan will be saved. If these things do not happen, it will be a betrayal of the people’s movement. I am confident that the elections will be held on time. For this, we will support the government by increasing pressure from the people. My best wishes to the new government and the new generation. I stand with the parents who lost their young children during this movement. If I have to contribute something, I’m in jail right here. Come to meet. I would like to tell my friends at the lower levels of the party that if the party is not trying to capture it, but to build the party, then we will all be accommodated.

We have nothing to retaliate against the old political parties. They did as much as they could. Remembering their contributions to change the country in different periods of history, we should shun the feeling of vengeance. We should be able to defeat them through a healthy electoral competition. If you can’t do it alone, if you can’t, all the newcomers together. I heartily appeal to the entire party rank and file across the country to contribute their labour in the reconstruction work by coordinating with the administration.
