Kathmandu. Senior advocate Sabita Bhandari has been appointed as the legal advisor and attorney general of the government. She is the first woman to be appointed as the Attorney General in Nepal’s history.
President Ram Chandra Poudel appointed him as the Attorney General on Friday on the recommendation of Prime Minister Sushila Karki. According to a press release issued by the Office of the President, Pradip Kumar Koirala, today, Bhandari was appointed as the Attorney General in accordance with the Article 157 (2020) of the Constitution of Nepal. ”
