Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Newly-appointed ministers of the Sushila Karki-led government have taken oath of office and secrecy today.

President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to President Ram Chandra Poudel at the President’s House of Representatives on Monday.

Rameshwor Khanal was sworn in as the Minister for Finance, Kulman Ghising as the Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Urban Development Minister and Om Prakash Aryal as the Minister for Home, Law and Parliamentary Affairs.

Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Rawat, National Assembly Chair Narayan Dahal, among others were present on the occasion.

Arrangements have been made for the swearing-in of the ministers by setting up tents in the premises of Sheetal Niwas after they were destroyed by fire during the Jenji movement. With this, the Cabinet now has four members.
