Kathmandu. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has urged the Commission and its subordinate offices to hand over the looted and stolen goods during the agitation on September 24.
The NHRC has also requested the officials to hand over the materials to the Police Circle, Maligaon, Kathmandu or the Commission’s Office Tangal in case of Kathmandu and to the Commission’s subordinate office or the nearest police office.
The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA), Tangal, issued a public notice asking the bodies concerned to pay the theft and looting of vehicles, TVs, computer sets, micro ovens, hard disks, scanners, cameras, iPads, mobiles, laptops, heaters, fans and other items as they were looted and looted during the agitation period on September 10 ।
“As efforts are underway to identify those involved in vandalism and theft through CCTV footage, we request anyone who has taken or received such materials from the Commission and its subordinate office premises, to the Police Circle, Maligaon, Kathmandu or the Commission’s Office Tangal in case of Kathmandu and to the Commission or to the nearest police office in the case of the Commission.” Otherwise, it will be informed that it will be in accordance with the law,” the notice published by the commission reads.
