Kathmandu. Minister Aryal has said that the government will investigate into the use of excessive force by security personnel during the protests.

He said this to the media persons after assuming office at the Home Ministry today. He said that the present government has been formed to conduct free and fair elections.

He made it clear that the government was formed with the main responsibility of holding fair elections. Minister Aryal said that the construction of structures damaged during the agitation along with the elections was in the priority of the government.

“Those displaced by the insurgency are likely to return again, even if the people give a mandate, we should go for the election,” said Minister Aryal, adding, “Those who launched a new people’s revolt have now come to this situation.” Now, even if the people’s insurrection is successful, it will have to be fully confirmed through the election. ’
