Kathmandu. At present, the monsoon low pressure trough is located around the average place. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Meteorological Forecasting Division, wind carrying water vapor from the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal is also present.

According to the Division, the weather will be generally cloudy throughout the country towards the afternoon today. Likewise, moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of the hilly region and at some places of the rest of the country, including in Bagmati and Lumbini provinces. There are chances of heavy rain at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Karnali provinces and at one or two places of Terai region of Lumbini province.

The weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly region of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati province and Gandaki province while it will be partly cloudy in the rest of the country tonight. Likewise, moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of the hilly region of Madhes, Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. According to Meteorological Forecasting Division, there are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of hilly region of Madhes and Koshi and Bagmati province.

The Division has forecast that there is a risk of occurrence of landslide and debris flow due to rainfall, the water level in big and small rivers and rivulets may rise, affecting the transport sector.
