Kathmandu. The epicentre of the earthquake was around Patihalne Bhanjyang (east of Rukum) and on the border of Baglung districts.
According to the National Center for Seismology, Lainchaur, an earthquake of magnitude 4.6 on the Richter scale occurred at 8.25 pm with its epicenter around Patihalne Bhanjyang on the border of Rukum (East) and Baglung districts.
