Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has left the army barracks.
Oli, who is also the outgoing Prime Minister, was staying at the Shivapuri Barracks of the Nepal Army by helicopter from the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar during the demonstration. He came out of the barracks today.
After resigning from the post of Prime Minister, he reached Shivapuri Barracks by helicopter on September 24.
Now Oli, who has left Barem, has started living in a rented house in Bhaktapur. Former Industry Minister Mahesh Basnet is said to have helped Oli stay there.
According to sources, Oli’s residence is close to Basnet’s house. The agitators had also vandalised the houses of both Oli and Basnet.
