Kathmandu. A delegation led by NADA President Karan Chaudhary met with Prime Minister Sushila Karki and discussed the current complex situation of the country and its impact on the automobile business.
Minister for Finance Rameshwor Khanal, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Kulman Ghising, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal and Chief Secretary Ek Narayan Aryal were also present at the meeting.
On the occasion, Chairman Chaudhary said that the automobile business will be dynamic if the government addresses only two or three of the suggestions given by NADA. Chairman Chaudhary said that the security of the general business community and the peace and tranquility of the country were the most important issues and the government should also prepare a road map for the upliftment of the entrepreneurs.
During the meeting, Chairman Chaudhary presented a 22-point suggestion on behalf of Nada, urging the government to improve the policies to make Nepal’s automobile business dynamic.
On the occasion, Chairman Chaudhary also urged the government to have representation of NADA in the Industry Promotion Council recently formed. At the end of the discussion, Prime Minister Karki said that the government was serious about the loss caused to the business by the agitation by considering the suggestions put forth by the entrepreneurs.
