Bharatpur. CHITWAN — One-way traffic along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section has resumed since 5:00 am today. Vehicular movement was prohibited from 9:00 pm last night to 5:00 am today as landslides continued at Tuin rivulet of Ichhakamana rural municipality-6. The road, which was closed since Friday evening due to landslides, came into operation only late Sunday afternoon.

The landslide occurred again at around 8.00 pm on Sunday evening, informed Police Inspector Pratik Singh of Area Police Office, Muglin. Inspector Singh requested the people to travel only using their own lane as there is a lot of traffic on the road section. Passengers stranded on the road for the past two days have started heading to their destinations.

More than 10,000 vehicles ply the road every day. The District Administration Office (DAO) has urged the people travelling on the road to use an alternative route until the two-way road is resumed.
