Kathmandu. The Supreme Court will remain open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm today for the hearing of the writ petition on the habeas corpus during the Dashain holiday.

According to the Supreme Court administration, the writ petition of habeas corpus will be heard on other days except Ghatasthapana, Bijaya Dashami, Kojagrat Purnima and Saturdays during the Dashain period.

“As per Clause 26 of the Judicial Administration Act, 2073, the court will remain open from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm for hearing the writ petition except on Ghatasthapana, Bijaya Dashami, Kojagrat Purnima and Saturday,” the notice reads. ’
